One morning, I saw a new student standing at the school gate. I walked over to greet him with a smile. "Hi! My name is Li Hua. What’s your name?" I asked.
He smiled back and said, "Hello! I’m Zhang Wei. Nice to meet you!" We began to introduce ourselves to each other. I told him that I usually go by "Hua" for short, and he said his friends call him "Wei."
I was really glad to meet him because we had a lot in common. We were in the same grade, and we even shared the same hobby—playing basketball. To my surprise, he turned out to be my new classmate!
Zhang Wei was very friendly, and the classroom soon was full of laughter because of his jokes. He had a full schedule but always stayed active. His positive attitude made him full of energy, and everyone liked him.
